Check to see your system says 4.0 then hit sign up for a new account. There's an option for recovering your old account. just punch in your email and password to recover. you don't actually log in to PSN, you just get your account back. What it does is create the ACT.DAT which is what ReActPSN uses for the activations
After updating to 0.6, under system information -> system software it's "Version 3.55, True Blue v2.4"
Can you provide some detail on how to check the system if it's v4.0 in debug settings (This is the only debug option I have in this CFW)
Which option do recover my old account? Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't explain enough. Here's a quick step by step
1. install the .6 update pkg
2. it places an update icon in your XMB in the game category. Run that. You can delete it after a successful update
3. go into your package manager and look in the internal hard drive. You should see Rebug Selector 1.6.1. Install that
4. launch rebug selector from the XMB in the game category
5. follow the on screen instructions to set your console for both Debug and Rebug settings. Also if you haven't before, hit select to create your package folder on your hard drive.
6. Exit - your console should reset. If not, do it manually
7. go into your system settings and check your version. It should say 4.00 now. This .6 update file included the ReActPSN vsh files so no need to patch but you still need the ReActPSN 2.0 launcher
8. go to your network tab and hit sign up at the top
9. you can either create a new account or use your old one. It doesn't really matter because when you get ReActPSN working it will replace all your info for your account with a universal one
10. You DO NOT NEED TO SIGN IN. you just need to get to the screen that says Welcome *USERNAME*
11. You should be good to try ReActPSN again
Good luck. I'm crashing for the night but let me know if you get it working. I'll be back around tomorrow

Ok, I think I'm almost there. I installed the rebug selector 1.6.1. Launched it and pressed "select" to create the package folder as I have not done it before.
Exited to XMB and checked. Still at "Version 3.55, True Blue v2.4"
I launched rebug selector again. And am presented with a page of options :
*** REBUG SELECTOR ***
MODE : Normal XMB : Debug DEBUG MENU : 1
STATUS : Ready - Please select an option
Auto reboot : Off - Fast Menu switching active
*********************
Mode select :
Press L1+Cross to set : [Normal mode]
Press L1+Circle to set : [Rebug mode]
XMB select :
Press R1+Cross to use : [Retail XMB]
Press R1+Circle to use : [Debug XMB]
Debug Menu select :
Press R2+Cross to use : [Debug Settings : Menu 1]
Press R2+Circle to use : [Debug Settings Menu 2]
-----------------------------------------------------------
So which one should I choose after "select" to create the packages folder? To sign in I still need my internet connection to be enabled right?

One last thing. Never delete anything from your exdata folder. You will need the files each time you use ReActPSN. Before each launch of ReActPSN make sure you change your account name to aa. There are large packs of raps/edats on the net (some over 2000). Do not use these in one big update. It can't handle that many at once but I've added about 100 at a time with no problem and am sitting at about 500 raps and 100 edats roughly. If you do decide to download one of these just put the files in a folder called exdatabak or something similar and only use the ones you need. You can match up the game to the rap/edat by the game id.

Thanks, I already know that. A little help on the rebug selector which I posted on #13 please?
Ok, after switching to debug mode I can access the PSN sign in.. one last question, do I need to switch back to rebug mode after signing in?

Ok, after some testing, I launched rebug selector and set the system to debug mode. Exited and the firmware is spoofed at 4.0.
I signed in using my previous PSN account. After that it won't let me proceed until I updated the system software. Naturally, I didn't proceed. I have been trying this step : 10. You DO NOT NEED TO SIGN IN. you just need to get to the screen that says Welcome *USERNAME*
Refer to the pictures. But I must be signed into PSN to get the Welcome "USERNAME" right?

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING. if it says "Sign in" instead of "Sign up" then you are ready to run reactpsn

I dont know how the debug/rebug setting works with TrueBlue, but you need to leave them both on when you run ReActPSN. You can turn them off if you like or need to for TrueBlue but I leave it on at all times. I think you may run in to problems with some of the newer ReActPSN games if you don't leave those settings on

Thanks, but I tried again still no go for reACTPSN. Though I have 4rifs. You mentioned that I do not need to sign in but if I don't I won't get the Welcome "USERNAME" at the upper right hand side of the screen & it's not possible to sign in at all if it keeps prompting me to update the system software.. up to now I still have not got any confirmation that this works for the TB version of rebug. I am not doubting your expertise but I believe that it will only work with normal rebug firmware..

In rebug mode, the firmware shows v3.55, but v4.00 in debug. I have tried both modes prior to running reactpsn. Still doesn't work...
