I have a TB dongle. Installed the 3.55.2 Rebug TB firmware & updated the dongle to v2.4

I am trying to get reACTPSN v2 to work without success at all.. anyone can help? I understand that the 3 .self files for reACTPSN do not need to be patched as it is already pre-patched in the CFW. I also updated it to the 0.6 update stated here : http://rebug.me/?p=1336

So what I did initially was to create an "exdata" folder at the root of my USB device & copy a few .rap files to it. Then I created an "aa" profile, launched reACTPSN with R1 pressed. The system rebooted and I can see that the "aa" profile has been changed to "reAcTPSN v2.0 3rif 0edat" (I copied 3 rap files into the exdata folder)

So now I proceed to install one pkg dynamic theme and 1 PSN game. The theme shows me "corrupted data" & the PSN game blacks out... did I miss out any step.. or is Rebug TB firmware not compatible at all?

Also, is there supposed to be any files in the "pubPSN" folder of the ReActPSN (Created after R1 + reACTPSN was launched)

themes are handled different than games. create a folder on your internal drive called "themes" - all lowercase. put your edatas and pkg files there. put your raps in your exdata folder on your external drive and try again

    I'm sorry, that should read
edats and p3t in your dev_hdd0/theme folder
    raps in your dev_usb0/exdata folder
    pkg files normally

then run ReActPSN again after changing name to aa. should fix it

edit: fixed locations.... sorry I'm half asleep

no, I'm using the 3.55.2.6 version. I couldn't get ReActPSN to work until I did the .6 update even after doing the auto patcher for the vsh files. I don't know if the .6 update is available for the TB version, but you might want to look. Your PM said your theme only had a RAP and a PKG. What was the name of it? I probably have it on mine and I'll verify those are the only files

I can't use the normal rebug firmware as I am using the TB dongle. Anyway, the pkg was downloaded from a chinese site which is the official afrika dynamic theme.

I just checked it out. The .6 update works on the TB edition. That is probably your problem. And yes, those are the only 2 files for that theme. Install the update from Rebug Update Package 0.4 (3.41.3) and 0.6 (3.55.2) | Codename: REBUG then you must always remember to treat theme files differently. Look above for locations of files. They won't always include all of the files. Usually it's only 2 of the 4 but they have to be placed in those locations

Also verify your account has been online (PSN) i know it won't work without the creation of the activation files. If you haven't been, then just go to the signup screen and create an account, but don't log in. It should fix that. Let me know if you get it working or not. I have a couple other ideas but are a little more involved

I'll try another theme which has a edat & rap. Will update. Anyway, I thought rebug firmwares does not need an activated PSN account? I do have a previous working PSN account but won't be able to log in since I'm always offline

Tested a edat theme, still showing me corrupted file after launching reactpsn

I think what you heard was that the only way to get it to work if you've never been online is through rebug. I had to format my hard drive, so I ended up basically with a new console. What I had to do through a lot of trial and error since I couldn't get the auto patcher to work for me was to update to the .6 and go into debug/rebug mode. Check to see your system says 4.0 then hit sign up for a new account. There's an option for recovering your old account. just punch in your email and password to recover. you don't actually log in to PSN, you just get your account back. What it does is create the ACT.DAT which is what ReActPSN uses for the activations
