YLOD after trying to put in FSM with E3 Card Reader (Not Overheating)
Hi Everyone,
I'm a bit of a noob so any help is much appreciated. I tried downgrading my little bro's PS3 Fat 80gb CECHL with the E3 Flasher, made successful verified backup dumps, etc., done the flow rebuild patch and was ready to put the ps3 into service mode for downgrading (at the "connect the controller using usb" screen).
I then programmed the e3 card reader (blue light appeared while connected to pc) and connected it to the ps3 to trigger FSM but it wouldn't work (just flashed red a few times and then nothing). I tried this probably 7-10 times, reprogramming the E3 card reader a couple of times to make sure it was done correctly but still nothing. I then gave up and decided to reflash my original dump and either start from scratch or just leave the f*in thing as it was!
When I tried to do this I kept getting various errors to say the nor clip wasn't attached correctly (I had already done the pieces of card trick) and one of the times I tried to flash the original dump it YLOD
Although I was pretty sure the YLOD wasn't caused by overheating (It hadn't been on for more than 40 seconds at a time in the last month!) I done a reflow and it's still exactly the same YLOD.
Any ideas???????
Thanks!
