teensy++ help –
11-04-2012,03:15 PM
hi everyone, ive read every guide going to try and help me and advise me what to do but since there is so many revisions and board models im stuck.
at the moment im on ofw 3.41 after a daft upgrade of cfw 3.55 as i wanted to play final fantasy x-2 before there was an eboot patch (daft i know but i did it anyway)
anyway i have a teensy++ and want to downgrade to 3.55 so i can start getting back into the scent but just cant get the answers im looking for so if anyone can help this would be great.
1 i know the teensy++ is compatible with my model but can i use it to downgrade from ofw 2.41 as a lot of sites say it can only be done from 3.70
2 whats the best way to wire the teensy++ regarding power, i know the latest updates recommend not using the regulator but doing it as a perminant fixture (sounds great) but what pints are to be shorted and what track exactly on the board do you cut (a picture would be amazing)
3 i have a dia-002 board can someone give me a wiring diagram as the only ones i can find (including in this section) are only for the dia-001
im fine with soldering and doing the hardware side of things but feel a little insecure with the lack of information i can find.
thank you for any advice

If you're currently on OFW 3.41, just install 3.55 OFW, then install a CFW of your choice. You don't need the Teensy at all.
