earlier today he was trying to boost amazebreak sales by claiming amazebreak could get onto psn, and flat-out lying about it

Only because there were 2 users this morning that were saying they were able to get on PSN. I don't even own an Amazebreak. Both amp2006 and GaryOPA quickly found it to be false and closed the thread. I was just repeating what I read.

Edit: Given, I should have waited until more users proved it, but I wanted to throw a warning out to anyone else that found it to be true (before it was proven not to be), that it was probably a tactic by Sony to collect users on modified firmwares information, more then likely to use against geohot. If you read further what I posted in a couple of threads, you would see that I was telling users not to do this if they found it to be true, because it would bring nothing but trouble down on geohot. If you don't believe me, go ahead, find all posts by me and you'll see what I'm saying is the truth. Yeah, i tried that. Since the unmodified 1.st lv2diag.self doesn´t work on a 3.55 console.

Have you tried to take the Hard out and Reformatting it on Windows with a Format software like CompuApps SwissKnife to Fat32 then slapping that sucka back into the PS3?

Decrypt it with unpkg (use a recent version) You'll see it.
