PS3KEY?????????

Hey up all.

Pullign my hair out now, i just ordered a PS3KEY as it seems the only key i can find in the UK at the mo thats in stock, and i thought that any usb device can get a ps3 into service mode.

Looking at it, it now says you can only do a 3.5 or below or is this just the backup loaders etc.

Can you not use this to get into serve mode then switch over to a fat formatted usb stick and put on the 3.55 downgrade modeified 3.41 firmware patch???

OR have i just wasted my money and when it comes will not work?

Waste of money. If you're already at 3.56+ the only thing you can do is downgrade using an internal flasher device. If you're on 3.55 or lower you can simply install a custom firmware which provides all the functionality of the old dongles. Cancel your order if you can!

thats for the replies, most of them anyway.

I need to get from 3.55 to 2.3 so i can remarry my board, im just stuck with what dongles will work.

I dont need the dongle for anytyhing other than getting into service mode on a 3.55 firmware ps3.

Im looking at the ps3 jailbrake but there seems like theres loads to pick,

anyone got any recomendations.
