i have tried to downgrade a fat ps3 cechg 01, i did the first downgrade from 3.55 to 3.41, but when i try to downgrade from 3.41 to 3.15 to remarry a drive or any else file it will stay on the green light forever, and i have tried almost everything and still have the same result, any help would be gladly appreciated.

Do you know your PS3's base firmware to see if it can go as low as 3.15?

What method of downgrade are you trying, Factory Service Mode, QA Flag or other.
I recommend using QA Flag method, do your own research about it but basically install REBUG 3.41.3OTHEROS++, or go up to 3.55 and install 3.55.2OTHEROS++, install QA Flag EXTRA, use REBUG Selecter to change to retail menu, go to settings and down to Network Settings(dont press X just leave it highlighted) press the button combo, go to debug settings and enable System Update Debug, restart system in recovery mode and choose system update then put in the USB with 3.15 in the update folder like normal. When updating it will still ask for a firmware at or above what your on but dont worry about that it will accept 3.15.

While in service mode, using Jaicrabs Lv2diag.self install the special 3.55 firmware (used for downgrading)
Then still in service mode, install 3.15 the same way (with the same Lv2diag.self)

You don't have to use 3.41 at all.

right now i have done that already i used the special firmware to download from 3.55 to 3.41 and when i try to go to any other firmware it just wont turn off the console it stays with the green light blinking, i've tried 2.80, 3.00, 3.15, 3.30, 3.40, 3.41 and nothing, will try to go back to 3.55 to try the debug method.

Damn doesn't sound good, did you get out of factory mode to update to 3.55. Maybe try just going straight to REBUG 3.41.3 OTHEROS++(not in factory mode)
