Okay. I'm Downgrading & JBing my PS3 and was just wondering a few things. Here they are:

Additional Details: Bought my PS3 in Feb of 2011, Has never Froze, Is still alive and kicking, I've never tried Jailbreaking before and Finally I'm currently running 4.31

1) If I downgrade will I loose any of my Saved Game Data?

2) I'm going to install FTP to Transfer a Copy-Prohibited Save to my PC, will this work?

3) If It does work how exactly will it?

4) When copying it back to my PS3 will I loose any Saved Data?

5) Can I downgrade with just a Fat32 USB Flash Drive, and free Downloads?

Thank you, That is all. I know it is quite a bit but I need to be safe.

looks like your ps3 is datecode 1A or feb 2011 as you mentioned

you need to find "MinVerchk.PUP and rename it to "PS3UPDATE.PUP"
put it on a thumb drive in this directory...

X:/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP be sure to use all capital letters.

try to install the pup from the XMB. it will tell you how low you can downgrade. if it says 3.56+ your SOL.

Possibly, never know! To Downgrade though you'll need a Nand/Nor Flasher
