Need to know some info please and help

ok i have the e3 flasher limited edition and my slim 160gb ps3 model number is CECH-2501A do i have to do anything to the mainboard on the ps3 to be able to dual boot or fast dual boot?? or can i just download the updated file to fast dual boot for the e3 need to know this b4 i install it and everything cause i dont want to mess anything up cost to much to mess it up. also do i need 3.55 ofw or can i use a custom 3.55 cfw when i go to downgrade?? hope to hear something back asap. thanx and have a great day.

first you better make sure it is able to be downgraded. wgat is the manufactuer date or the date code?

its a downgradeable system so im guud on that and the reason i know is cause i used to have cfw 3.55 on mine plus it can only downgrade down to 3.50

does anybody that has the e3 flasher limited know if i have to cut a wire on the mainboad of the ps3 and sodder something in order to do dual booting?? or can i do it with cuttting anythin and soddering?? hope to hear back something on this soon. thanx and have a great day

I'm in the same boat, from what I can gather from the E3 manual it looks like I should cut a wire on my mainboard but I can't seem to find a useful guide to setting up and using the fast dual boot feature of the E3 card reader. Have you found anything useful yet?
