I got PS3 Slim CECH 2504a 160GB, but I 'fuc*ed' it up with the upgrades.. so my system version is now 3.73.. I've read that on these ps3 is not possible to downgrade.. is it true?

btw.. I've found 3.73 JB version and I have it now.. pls tell me how to install and what else do I need if there is something out for 3.73 like multiman etc.

otherwise in many videos on youtube I saw the ''Install Package Files'' folder located in Games but I don't still get it how to enable.. pls tell me anyone..

so if you have any time left answer me and i'll be very grateful. pls answer step by step and simple, because I'm a noob xD

the last question.. if there's any possible downgrader tell me..

    only one step i'm afriad...

1... you're buggered, just stick to ofw for now!

you cant mod 3.73 (yet) - the videos and everything else you've seen are fake, sorry,

dont try anything with the 3.73JB you've got - it wont work

you may possibly be able to downgrade with a flasher although that is not going to be easy and if you are as much a noob as you say and you mucked up the updates already i would seriously just suggest you pay someone else to downgrade it for you (get a 'reputable' shop or something to do it)

if you screw up a downgrade you'll probably end up bricking your unit, at least at the minute you can still use it with ofw

mhm.. ok than, thanks dude.. so it's best for me not to fu*k around with that and pay somebody.. i've read about downgrading a lot these days but I think it would be better not to do anything more.. I was afraid of bricking so I did not continued with the procedure and came by to ask you guys.. thanks anyway ))

lol, yeah, sorry man - i personally wouldnt mess about with downgrading - at least if you pay a shop like £40 or whatever to do it then they'll probably give you some kind of guarantee or at least replace the unit if they screw it up.

You'll just have to find a small local computer repair shop - they usually do that kind of thing

if you cant find one though then you could always sell it on ebay or to a friend for a similar sort of price as a standard second-hand one so that you could buy another on fw 3.55 or below and you wont lose out on money
