NAND 4.11 Downgrade programmer
Hello to everyone.
I need some help from more experienced users of this great forum. I have PS3 (wow :) based on COK-002 motherboard with 2xNAND on one side. All was OK until BD drive said bye bye. Logic board is fried. I obtained another working drive - and here's where problem starts. Console is updated to 4.11 and to do remarry I need to downgrade using hardware flasher. I've read nearly every forums regarding downgrade and every tutorial I could find.
I have an access to so called Universal Programmer ( Smartpro5000U) which is able to read/write samsung nand chipsets - just have to desolder it from motherboard.
So I started - downloaded content of both nand chip via mentioned programmer, used flowrebuilder to join both dumps( I verified output file with ps3devwiki tutorial ), patched with autopatcher from ps3devwiki (the one for progskeet nand) , rescrambled -155blocks modified on both - no errors or bad blocks and finally flashed files back to nands and soldered it back to motherboard. Pressed power on and........ YLOD. I have tried many methods but it always ends up in the same way - YLOD.
Even if I just copy contents from original nands to another pair of nands ( yes, I have few of them, I like to collect stuff... :) ) it's always YLODing. My original nands are intact, so at the end I have soldered them and console works fine.
My question is - is it even possible to reflash nands using this type programmer or I have to buy progskeet. I just wanted to save some money, and I was hoping that access to programmer will make that happened.... well so far it didn't :(
Thanks to everyone who will read this post.
Sorry for errors - english is not my native language.
