Just Chasing a lead

Hey everyone

I have a friend who wants there play station on rogero's CFW 4.30/4.31 but his play station is on a OFW above 3.55. I think its 4.00

I keep getting mixed results from a Google search saying that it is now possible to downgrade your firmware without a 3rd party flasher

Is this true? Any help or links to software that is capable of this would be awesome

And if its not true then thank you all for your time

you will need something like prodskeet or e3 flasher in order to downgrade that ps3...also will need to know if it is a nand or nor console in order to know witch one u will need...also u need to know if the ps3 originally came from the factory above 3.55 it can't be downgraded (even with the flasher)...i can say there currently is NO WAY TO DOWNGRADE ABOVE 3.55 WITHOUT A FLASHER NO MATER WHAT U READ OR SEE ON UTUBE (OR ANY OTHER SIGHT) if there is it will be on front page here...hope this helps and any questions ask and i will try and answer
