e3 flasher need help

i was following the Khalkedon e3 flasher tutorial i did everything it said i got my backup but then after i did the restore process it finished i turned off my ps3
and was gonna start the downgrade process but when i turned my ps3 back on i had no video no sound no hdd activity light so is it bricked?
any help would be greatly appreciated i have a fat 80gb ps3 sn cechl

im pretty sure this could be normal. i have seen people get no video and audio, and i have seen some that even get ylod that will still downgrade. upload your dump and lets check it. if you have a proper dump you could go ahead and try to downgrade and see if that fixes it. but before you do anything... upload that dump and lets check it out..... manually

most of the time tho you should see a "connect controller and press the ps button" on the screen (which you do NOT do btw)

why would you follow a youtube video when there are tons of information on ps3devwiki?


also... did you atleast put the heatsink and stuff back on the ps3? are you using hdmi or regular av jacks?

ok m8, here is the problem.

you have a console with metldr offsets of 0E 92 (metldr length is E9 60) and bootloader offsets of 2F 5B (bootloader length is 2F5F0)

what this means is your console is a cech 2501 with a date code of 1B (apr,may,june of 2011)

and on to the bad news.

your console cannot downgrade past 3.56, sorry. no way, no how are you gonna get 3.55 CFW on that ps3. reflash your original dump to your system. if the console is GLOD, then hook the flasher back up and put your original dump on the sd card and reflash it. then either enjoy your ps3, or sell it on ebay and get you one that can be exploited.

sorry about your luck.

next time ask first before you spend 100+ dollars on a flasher.

if you dont believe me, check out this table and compare the offsets i told you that you have.
check metldr and bootldr offsets and sizes.

if you need further confirmation i can post screen shots of your dump with the info highlighted.

but im doing it on an old fat 80gb isnt cech 2501 for a new slim?
