E3 Flasher downgrade 4.21 problem

hey guys me and one of my friend are trying to downgrade his PS3 from OFW 4.21 to CFW 3.55

we have already installed the clips and seems everything is working smoothly but we faced a problem in the point where we suppose to update e3 flasher via MicroSD in this video E3 FLASHER INSTALLATION and DOWNGRADE TUTORIAL (Khalkedon) - YouTube we should see a green light on but in ours nothing happens already tried another E3 Flasher as well as another MicroSD .have checked all other stuff they are all seems to be working .

so does anyone know what is the problem not updating the E3 via MicroSD ? thanks .

btw i am using 2011-11-22 E3 flasher upgrade file

and i just realized its seems we can use one E3 flasher only on one console is that right ?

Could it be that the E3 already has the latest update, it's all I can think of since it's happened with 2 different flashers, and I'm guessing the ps3 functions properly. And the E3 Flasher can be used multiple times as long as you're careful removing it, and VERY careful with the clip, the clip is easy to install and remove but at the same time can be very easy to wreck. And be careful with the soft board because bending it to much can cause breaks that you wont notice.
I wont do it tonight but if you're still having problems tomorrow I'll re-install mine and see if I can help, also can you upload all the files you're using so I can check them with mine, better to cover it all at once

Try this update file: Download update.bin from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way it's the one I used and had no problems

ohh OK man thanks well i thought of that too i thought it could be already update but i already skipped that so i went a head and tryed to get Nand backup in the video he says it should take about 1-2min to complete and a blue lights will flashes or blinking one by one mine did not that it was just flashing like an error and not all of them was flashing .if went to my friends house and i will try to post a video of that flashing lights .

what files are you talking about ? the update one or the downgrade files ?

downloaded i think i have the same files because mine also is 55kb in size not sure if you remember the date of that file you have downloaded.

because i used this files 2011-11-22 E3 flasher upgrade file (update.bin) under download section in e3 flasher site .

yeah i would do that as soon as i get my friends house .

i am stuck at the backup process when i suppose to see 8 blue light should led one by one but mind does not .

Did you say NAND chip?
As far as I'm aware, there is no clip for the NAND.

INSTALLATION of E3:
------------------------------
Anyway, when installing the clip on the NOR chip, the cable faces the bottom of the text on the chip.
Meaning, if you turn the board so that you can read the text on the chip the right way round, then the cable should be towards you.
Make sure the clip is on properly and tape someting like foam or spong to the top of the clip to keep a secure fitting.

NOR BACKUP:
---------------------
Once the PS3 is assembled, switch 3 UP, the rest DOWN.
Turn it on and you should have 4 lights alternating (1-3-5-7 then 2-4-6-8)
Insert blank Micro-SD and press START
Takes a while but if installed correctly, should slowly start to backup NOR one light at a time
When finished, turn off console
Copy backup file to PC and delete from Micro SD


DOWNGRADING: (works for all OFW including 4.21)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Copy downgrade.bin to Micro-SD and insert to E3 panel
Switch 6 UP, the rest DOWN
Turn on console
Wait for XMB to appear
Press START on E3
Wait...........................takes a long time
One light at a time appears until downgrade finished
When finished, turn off console and unplug

ENTER SERVICE MODE:
-----------------------------
Plug in console
Insert downgrade dongle
Press START then EJECT immediately after
Enter service mode and console turns off

Copy Step 1 and 3.55cfw PUP file to root of USB FAT32 disk
Insert USB to right port on console
Turn on console
NOR flashing in process with cfw
Console turns off

EXIT SERVICE MODE:
--------------------------
Delete all files from USB drive
Copy STEP 2 to root of USB drive
Insert to right port of console
Turn on console

Downgrading now completed.

now i can see (1,5,6) leds flashes is that Normal ?
