I want to downgrade back to 3.55 rebug because some of my games arent working properly on 4.21. Before I upgraded I qa flagged my ps3 so can I just install the 3.55 rebug firmware from the Xmb or do I have to use the 9.99 downgraded?

You can just install 3.55.3 but to make it a bit safer go into Multiman and create this folder dev_hddo/updater/01 and put the 3.55.3 PUP in the 01 folder, you can call the PUP anything you want eg. "Rebug 3.55.3" and doesn't need the .PUP extention, then go to System Update then Update via System Storage and choose the 3.55.3 PUP

    PS3 SuperSlim 120gb Firmware: 4.31 OFW / PS3 Slim 1Tb Firmware: Rebug 4.30.2

Ok so I tried installing it but it came up with error 8002f997 'the data is corrupted' and that came up at 69% while trying to copy the update to internal storage.
