Downgrading from a 3.60+ Out-Of-Box PS3

Hi, I wanted to know if it's possible to downgrade with E3 or progskeet to 3.55 if the firmware in which an out-of-box PS3 is 3.60+.

UPDATE: I have already searched through the forums and apparently you can't downgrade to a firmware (3.55) if the PS3 (out-of-box) has a higher firmware (3.60). However! I went to the official page of E3 and found this:

We find all FAT console works , most slim console works even include some new slim console which come with 3.56+ original FW. We find 3000X version console can programme correctly but can't downgrade and dual boot, we will do best to work it out and provide to all free.

i thought they both could downgrade from any firmware ?

Yes, but I was thinking the possibility that may be you needed to go through 3.55 before to downgrade. I mean that if my PS3 is 3.60 out-of-box I won't be able to downgrade greater than 3.60
