Ok so i have a e3 nor flasher and i have installed it into my ps3 Fat 80gb CECHK model and i have hit a stump.

Do i need to have a downgrade dongle or can i use some other thing instead such as a ipod touch still?

Also i never got the limited edition so i do not have the e3 esata dock do i need there model or can i buy on off something like ebay and use that?

I have 2 ps3's and i am wanting one for homebrew and one for online so any help would be much appreciated.

If your model is 2 Nand you will need a special clip for this, You can use any type of dongle to downgrade. He need is scheduled to downgrade!
You do not need the esata, just connect the HD.

Something to put pressure, too bad the clip!

I most likely will be posting a revised PS3Jig for PSP working release soon.

But I believe all that old stuff can be used to downgrade, like calculators and Ipods.

Stop by here ( http://psx-scene.com/forums/f263/ps3...d-know-102046/ (PS3 Downgrading - Everything you need to know!) ) to grab all the files you need, PSGrade, Lv2self, etc.

Thanks for the info guys. Just out of curiosity that looks like a slim ps3 in the first photo so how would that work if the e3 flasher has to be plugged into where the HDD goes would that not leave you with a choice of one or the other?

Glad to no I can bring out the good old iPod lol.
