CECHE01 on OFW 4.31 Downgrade with Flasher?

Hi guys,

I have a CECHE01 (NAND) that is on OFW 4.31. I know that I need a hardware flasher.

I want to downgrade and have been doing extensive research and reading, but still haven’t completely figured it out. According to Bailey’s guide, Progskeet is the only flasher that works with NAND. I can only find Progskeet v1.2 for sale (which requires the Injectus programmer), but I am unable to find the Injectus programmer in stock anywhere.

1. Will Progskeet work with OFW 4.31? I have seen that it does lower firmware in old posts, but I just want to be sure.

2. Does the slave board that comes with the Progskeet v1.2 function as the developer board?

3. Is there an alternative to the Injectus programmer?
Progskeeet mentions coming out with a QSB, but I don’t think it’s available yet.

4. So, are there any other flashers that can work with NAND if you buy the NAND clips separately? The E3 Flasher maybe?

I try to do my research, but I am so confused that I could really use some help from you guys. Please!

hi, i use progskeet 1.2 for dual nand consoles it can downgrade from 4.31 and it works perfect i have downgraded over 50 dual nand consoles this year with one.

Thanks for the reply, that's good to know before buying. How do you attach the Progskeet to the NAND? Do you use the 360 clip?

I have found the Progskeet v1.2 Full Kit available for purchase at one store (comes with the Injectus programmer and the Progskeet adapter PCB kit).
Do I also need to buy the NAND TSOP 360 Clip AND a Progskeet PCB Add-on in order to attach the Progskeet to the NAND?

I know the 360 clip is not the best way to go, but I don't know what other options there are.

hi, i solder direct to the legs of the nand chips myself as that will give you far less errors than any other way ie clip or the alt solder points but i have been chipping since ps1 days so its not to hard for me to do that, but i would not advise doing that unless you are good at solder, you will prob have best results with the clip(needs to be trimmed down a little to fit flush on the nand). If there is one thing i can stress to you is make sure you check your dump to make sure you have no errors before you patch and reflash or your console could turn in to a expensive door stop.
