No no its something hes looking into implementing,for example if you want to scroll to the bottom of the list for a game it can be just a little bit slow, because the pic is loaded and viewed for each game,if there was a 1 sec delay on the pic being shown then you could scroll right to the bottom fast and only then would a pic be shown of the game you would like to play.

I hope me too Rogero will be successful in all the things he does (as at work / dad / etc.) .

You make a great job, and it seems that you are respectful.

I have to told you that the File manager of multiMAN is great, better than Awesome FileManager, i use it only for this (i still didn't configurate my network in order to make all by FTP, with this feature, multiMAN will se useless).
But the video function, not for me this SwissKnife tool.

Maybe Rogero will make his own FileManager...?...
Or will "only" focus on being a great Manager.

I have to told you too that the last Open Manager is great, i took the stealh version, nice to have a Manage detected as a CoD.
His customs designs are awesome [i asked you before in order to know if you will implement multiple mode of views, and also cover system, but it seems that it isn't in the TODO List], but i still didn't configurate it because i'm worrying about default folders.

This is why i came, in order (i hope) to understand how Managers works about the game directories, and what happen when we install/delete a software.

I explain my self:
- i installed Rogero as my first Manager, and choose the folder GAMEZ, the software is in game/LAUN12353.
- then, i tried others Manager to make my own opinion.
- first i tried multiMAN (great configuration about the folders in a file option.ini), who use the default folder GAMES and i configurate the additional directorie for GAMEZ.
He is installed as game/BLES80608 (there is a directorie GAMES in his installed area, hopefully i didn't choose the Manager's folder).
- then i tried a bad Backup Manager Stealth, i deleted it (i didn't choose the same folders)
- and finally, i installed Open Manager who asked to use the folder GAMEZ, but i refused because i was scared if after he delete it.
So now, the game & manager folder is GAME/NPWR01247.

All this romance to about on those questions:
- Is it possible for Rogero to be stealth as Open Manager ( His icon is Open Manager, but the title is Call of Duty: Black Ops ; the ID of the folder is like the PSN's Demos).
- I read that you integrated a stealth Blackbox ftp version by you, it use the same trick?
- If one day i delete Rogero, what about the game/GAMEZ folders?
He will take in the graveyard the backups too lol?
- If i install another Manager, like Open Manager, and then use the game/GAMEZ folder (all my backups are there), will he delete his content?
And when i will delete it, maybe he take all with him in the graveyard too :s.

I tried to look about the size of each Manager, and they aren't as big as the backups size.
Maybe with this information i could be sure that it will not delete my backups?
I don't know to exhauste my layer who worked more than 6 hours about those backups (until my internal is full lol ).

Sorry for my noobs question, but i really don't understand for the moment how Manager deals with Backup folders.

I hope i am not too heavy with my newbie questions.

You must know that any application including managers installed on the PS3 XMB,when deleted,will always remove all the files and directories that exists inside the application own folder, so if you delete any manager and you have the "GAMES" folder with all your backups inside that manager's folder, they will be deleted for sure.
To be on the safe side and to be able to install/try/delete different managers without worrying about the backups being deleted by accident, you have to make sure that your backups are stored in a folder independent of any manager's installation folder.

You can install the "Rogero Manager" anytime now without removing other managers or worrying about the games, while running it for the first time it will try to detect your games folder or you can select the folder manually
from several different preset paths.

And about the Games folder, you have to use the BlackBox FTP server v1.2, with the FlashFXP or any other FTP client on your PC side, then you FTP to your PS3, you select the games folder and right click -> Move , then you select a new independent path like one of the following :
dev_hdd0/game/GAMEZ
dev_hdd0/game/GAMES
dev_hdd0/GAMEZ
dev_hdd0/GAMES

this way, your games will be outside of any manager's installation folder, and you can delete any manager without the risk of deleting your games.

Rogero Manager v7.7 already have a stealth version inside the .rar package, I included my stealth version of the manager which report the ID and name as COD MW2 to be used with the Spoofed Payload and PSN.
I released the stealth version before OM did, first with version 7.6 I used BlackOPS for the title_ID then i changed it to Modern Warefare2 in version 7.7 because that's a game which still un-playable with 3.41JB Ps3's and to avoid any conflict caused while playing blackOPS itself on PSN.
N.B: PSN is now blocked for JB Ps3's, so next release will not include a stealth version because it's useless for the time being.

It's a very great thing that the Manager search by his own the folder game.
Others Managers have to be inspired from your great job .

So now, i will have to find, edit and make work my own parameters in the other Manager, i think about the good Open Manager.

Yes, this is what i tried to make, i downloaded your Rogero V7.7 stealth, but it's strange that he installe himself in LAUN12353 and not in the same ID of the stealth game used (like Open Manager did by installing as a PSN Demo).

Maybe i made a mistake...?... or is it normal that Rogero use a unstealth installation folder?
At the first time i used jailbreak, maybe a made a mistake by using the CE-X Hybrid Payload 3.41.
Now, i use the KakaRaTo 3.41 who spoof in 3.50 (necessary to install Open Manager).

Your BlackBox stealth version is as stealth as i explained you about Open Manager?
People talked about a little song in your Manager, i don't have any of this thing in mine , why?

To finish this message, i ask you again (sorry for my insistence ) about the features i talked:
- What about a FileManager? In order for people who don't use FTP ( not stable in wifi, and i still don't buy CPL to try with this), to make all the job by this feature.
- Is it possible to add a screensaver after a certain time of inactivity please?
I ask you about this because when the ftp works, it's very bad to have the game list. I play on a plasma, and those ones don't like fix elements.
- And about different view? List & Covers?
- What about 3D Covers? Covers where we can read the text below for people who discover for the first time the games.
If people integrate a little video box near it to show how the game looks, it will be THE ultimate Manager about design.
I'm gonna ask those things for the community.

I ask this design version for people who want to change and not stay with the list view .

- Another extra stuff who is awesome:
Why not the implement of an audio player to have some good songs during FTP transfert?
Or the possibilty to make this Homebrew compatible with Sound play in PS3 if it isn't too hard programation.
Edit: Forget about the homebrew compatible with sound play, because i forget how much the Sony player suck lol.
When i thought about this idea of audio player, multiMAN did it lol, very big coincidence.

- Another feature i think about, is a demo/update auto "installer" by giving only the .pkg. This feature will create by his own the 000000X folder to launch in PS3 mode without Jailbreak.
Because for the moment, we have to use the GREAT Demo PSN Installer, create the .pdb files withe the good folder 000000X.

- Is it possible to have a locked mode / option? I think about having only X bouton working to launch backup, and nothing else.
I ask this feature in order to have no mistakes when the kids touch at the Manager.

Is it possible to add dev_hdd0/BDRIPS for the internal games and root/BDRIPS for external?

This is the dir that Gaia uses, not dev_hdd0/game/gaia01985/BDRIPS

the stealth package installs into the folder "BLES00683" which is originally the stealth game's folder, but you saw the "LAUN12353" folder because you have installed the other package meant for the "LAUB12353" folder

Your BlackBox stealth version is as stealth as i explained you about Open Manager?

yes, it installs into the Fifa11 folder and uses the game's Title_ID too.

N.B: all this stealth theory is now useless as PSN is blocked again for Jailbreak-ed consoles.

No, that's not a song , it's just a little notification sound at startup and when you turn On the Patch Mode.

I use a PS2 controller + an USB adapter . Works fine in XMB and some games but does not work with Rogero Manager . Can you work on this ?
