"Added Support for Loading USB Games with Big/Split-files by caching the Split-Files to internal HDD."
I just tried to do the same thing with LA Noire. I used spli4g.exe to split the 14g file and it split the file and then i copied it in the same folder as the 14 gig file and deleted it and transfered the completed BLES folder to gamez folder. When I ran La noire it didnt ask me whether it will be caching the split folder to my HD but the game ran. I was unable to get any in game dialogue sounds and cut scenes were not loading. I read somewhere this is because of the either the files were not loaded properly on the system. Am i doing anything wrong or did I use the wrong splitter. Can someone please give a full explanation on how to get it rolling, please.
Hi, the manager versions > 8.0 can read the Games from folders with their names first, the name of the folder is never a problem, but having the game inside multiple folders is the problem. Beginning from version 8.1 I have removed recursive folder scanning to speed up the initial scanning process, so the game must be 1 level down inside the main "Games" folder, example:
"/dev_hdd0/Games/Mortal_Kombat_Blusxxxx/...." is fine
"/dev_hdd0/Games/Mortal_Kombat/Blusxxxx/...." won't work.
so you can use any naming style for the individual game folder as long as you don't put it inside another folder.
Hi, when you transfer a game with FTP the Game List may not refresh to show the new Game, so you can use the Game List Filter to refresh it by pressing [L2+R2+L1] this will cycle the List to show HDD Games/USB Games then ALL Games and will rescan your games at the same time.
So after transferring your games from FTP, pressing [L2+R2+L1] 2 or 3 times will cycle/refresh your list![]()
Hi, I think there's something wrong in your files, or maybe the files locations, because I have tested both games : KillZone3 & LA Noire while i was still working on the manager before releasing it, and both worked fine with the caching function. (and Note that if the same game was previously cached with multiMAN, the manager will load it directly without asking you about splitting the files)
Hmm, 8.3 doesnt launch in ReBug 3.41.2 (same as previous versions though - returns back to XMB) until I manually load 'HermesV4C Rebugged' payload, which kinda ruins the purpose cause I planned to use RM as a "no manual payload load" manager.
Since I installed it over 8.3beta, I tries uninstalling it completely and doing a fresh install - still same results.
Was it different for you Rogero? I recall that you planned to install ReBug on your console.
EDIT:
if I set payload=0 in options.ini (syscall36) then it works, but I need hermes payload. If I change payload type to hermes using RogeroManager's UI then after I select 'OK' ("system needs to be restarted" message) I see blackscreen with no response from the console. Then I do a force restart by holding power button - after restart RM returns back to XMB when I run it (I guess it cant use its own hermes payload yet on ReBug).
Here ya go
complete folder located in 'game'
forum shows internal error when i try to upload attachment, so here is depositfiles link
