Speaking of the test version!!!!

I was thinking, if you just use the USB MOUNT for all the games, not just automatically for the ones it thinks it needs to, and had an option to turn it off. The game compatability might be the best we have ever scene. Just a thought.

Yes, it should have an option to turn off, for 'just in case' situations. You never know.

BIG question, BIG file cache?

I had the same idea as you, run every external game with Select + X, since it could not hurt, well and i found out that both on Atelier Rorona - The Alchemist of Arland and Ratchet & Clank Future - Tools Of Destruction, using Select + X the games didnt even mount up. So i removed the option from both and it worked. Just to let you know that some games dont like Select + X from external.

Rogero, does the default on 'USB_Mount' still have problem with the above games + also Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 mentioned by Otar in another post?

Could there be more games that doesn't like USB_Mount which are not discovered yet? If so, wouldn't that come to the same thing as before? Either way, there will still be some games that won't run with USB_Mount on or off by default?

that's why i need those beta test versions, more feedback is needed to decide on the USB_Mount behaviour for the final version, but for now, i think this way is the most compatible ( you can always run those games that don't like USB_Mount from internal HDD or with [L1+L3] )
