what is the difference between the normal lvl2patcher and this dean syscall36 ?
Might have been answered before but what was the need to move the games to a different folder?
ok, I think this is what happening in your case:

2- You also have a folder called "Games" in : "dev_hdd0\Games" ( I assume it's empty, please make sure it is because it will be deleted )
3- You run RM v8.0 Setup and it detects the empty folder "Games" in "dev_hdd0\Games"
4- It prompts you if you want to use it and you select "Yes" but this folder is actually empty so no games will show in the manager's Menu once started.(at this point i must change the message to say: Is this the folder where you have your games ?)
5- Repeat the Setup again, you can do it from Settings Menu, and when it asks you about the "Games" folder, you must select "No" , then it will continue scanning and will find the "dev_hdd0\game\LAUN12345\GAMEZ" folder, here it will prompts you about it, and it will move it for you to "dev_hdd0\Games" N.B: the previous "Games" folder already at this path "dev_hdd0\Games" will be automatically deleted before the move happens.
Please report back the result
to avoid accidental deletion of the Games folder when you delete an older version of the manager from XMB and the Games folder is inside that manager's installation folder (so the Games folder get deleted with it)

It's simpler then reading, verifying and loading a payload file into memory where there's chances for many errors/crashes/freezing, that's why it resulted in a very stable platform to use.

love the extra thingz.... but I really liked the manager when it was just basic, i don't use mulitman as much cause it got to much things me and many others wont use.. like ur new screen saver??? people use a manager to load games. if u sittin on rogero for that long, then y u using it??, and the auto fix permission it should only be done once... not every time u load a game.. , and hopefully u can change the lag for the background and icon, im using 7.9c
