Just found out about this backup loader and wanted to install after installing Waninkoko's 3.55 CFW on my PS3 (which I'm going to do today) and was wondering how do I go around installing this and then loading games from an external HDD. If anyone could help me with this I'd really appreciate it since I just started learning about PS3 cfwing

Word of advice - don't install waninkoko. There are other better alternatives - and this is my personal opinion - such as kmeaw.

What makes kmeaw better than waninkoko then? I've already checked and I my PS3 has a 16MB NAND so it shouldn't brick with waninkoko and there's a version of Rogero's signed for Waninkoko so I suppose it is compatible with it

Kmeaw doesn't hard-patch lv2. Also, not the place to discuss this.. I apologize for the off-topic.

i Lost BR Playback with Waninkoko but restored back to Original 3.55 then flashed Kmeaw and all is good backups and Blu Ray

PS grazie Rogero uso lv2patch + Rogero 7.8 e non ho avuto problemi..... rispetto a Gaia 2.04 e MM 1.13.03 in cui o si hanno dei crash all'avvio dei giochi o mentre si giochi si bloccano per alcuni minuti.

PPs Consiglio tutti ad usare Rogero 7.8 + Lv2 patched e non si avranno piu problemi [/lang]

I've tried both Fifa 11 and Avatar on internal (dev_hdd0/GAMES) and both give me a black screen every time I try to boot the game. However when running Avatar on external it works perfectly fine. Any clues?

Fixed. I simply moved the game folder to: "dev_hhd0/game/laun12345/GAMEZ/" ran fix_permissions and everything's working. Thanks dude

actually, in the version i'm about to release in few hours, I have added the option to disable Game Background Image loading as requested by some users, I think this will add the option to have some skins
and about the Lv2_patcher of version 7.9a it's V4, and now with 7.9b it will have the latest Kmeaw code = V5 of the patcher.
