10-21-2010,12:30 PM
First I want to thank the Anonymous original Open Manager coder for this talented piece of code,
then the Payload Developers: Mathieulh, AerialX, Hermes, and Kakaroto for their efforts on improving the Payload,
then all the Modified Open Manager coders: Moh_sakhaii, Dean, Jurai2, Drizztbsd and everybody else that i forgot...
they all contributed in improving the OM to reach the way it is now, all efforts should be continued to make it better each day.

So, I'm going to ask this question on the first page here, so it doesn't get repeated a hundred times. Is this ok to install with other managers? If not, which manager(s) would it possibly overwrite?

Currently I have installed Open Manager and this Rogero v7, you can use both of them, no problem at all.
I like the progress bar for copying, but 1) you should include the source as well and 2) I suspect there's a fair amount of moh.sakhaii's code here that hasn't been credited. Juraii of another forum was doing the same thing....
I hope you will correctly credit if thats the case and also submit the source

the rar file contains 2 packages, one labeled LAUN12345 which will overwrite any manager with this same ID and Folder, like the original Backup Manager.
and another package labeled LAUN12353 which will install to a new folder"LAUN12353" without overwriting any other manager.
Both packages will use the same and default games directory used from Day 1 with the original Backup Manager, which is:
"/dev_hdd0/game/LAUN12345/GAMEZ"

Looks good though...
I appreciate all the work done by Moh-sakhai and any other developer out there, actually i took ideas about the look of it from many other managers out there, but internal functionality/patching/syscalls handling are all the result of many, and i mean many sleepless nights...
and by the way, did Moh-sakhai version of the manager have a progress bar ?? GUI ??? etc.. I know internal algorithms are the most important about the program before the GUI/look, but after tweaking all the functions why not make it look better.
anyway my friend, feel free to enjoy good quality code

As far as GUI is concerened, I don't care for it as I'm only in the manager for 10 seconds. Although I did say I liked the Copy Progress part as it blends perfectly with the OS. Others though will really appreciate it all including the GUI.
If this code is 100% yours than I applaud another developer... but I stress the importance of keeping it open souce and following moh.sakhaii 's example and release the source code as well as compiled version.

Looking good.. really good
I have used your work earlier.. back in the days i really liked it then so i think it's time for a new try.
I like that i have the option to install this "also" But does it support OMAN46753/GAMEZ folder?
