And BTW the improvement he has done in the past and now are much more interesting than any manager and i always got his version an tested them most of the new function were included after him/his release... but he was much more discret than any other one, release first for himself and sharing on our little thread discretly (http://psx-scene.com/forums/f178/any...tml#post566211 Right there : getting some functionnality from open source manager is a normal way of doing things right now since the goal is to have the best version out there IMPROVE COMPATIBILITY be more user friendly Concerning this thread it wasn't even an idea of Rogero, Someone wanted him to opened it and wanted to make him share a little more his work. He just posted his seventh version like the first quickly on a post saying "it was done" Concerning the sharing of his source i think rogero might think like Hermes on this (he isn't the official releaser of the open manager and neither Moh or anyone here. The guy is anonymous and for now we don't know who he is, Everybody using his work and non credit goes to him, there isn't any platform available to post the source and work on it as a "community". No one could consider this his property and licence it. I think it's normal that Rogero work on it too by himself no need to be childish on this...And all of u need to know everything before writing/talking ...

He is so talented please don't screw with this guy since we want him to keep working on newer release!

The options ini file was included in Deans mod well before this, along with the progress bar and file paths, this is nothing new.

No need to include them when noone request them... like i said we were merely 10 or 15 on a little thread... And it doesn't mean improvement for me but tweaking ...

I'm merely going off what you said about other managers including things atfter Rogero releases a version, that is simply not true.

Also, people asking for source are not being "childish".

The original author stated that if you make changes, release the source code.
Any mod that does not include the source is not respecting the original author. Period.

I only use two versions of the manager (both of which include source) but I do like to see what others are doing/coming up with.

I wanted to release the source code as soon i get some rest here and finish my my personal work, because i need to remove the un-used code blocks that was there while testing, and add some comments where i did the important changes to the Payload detection and especially the Patching...so others Devs can catch them easily, but i didn't even had time to revise the code once since I'm so over-pressured with personal work.

Also I will only update it when major changes are needed, like new Payloads released or critical bugs discovered,due to lack of time for working on it.

I read 'I wanted to release' / 'I think it was better to keep it private' that's why I ask...

You could have mentioned moh in your first post where you did your announcement and told that you would release the code later on, it would save 50% of all the posts in this thread he
