I was thinking however that your designers/webmasters should create a page that one cannot post comments on. It's only purpose is to view the leaders, view their news submissions, and vote. It would be nice if the votes/position would auto update if the page is refreshed/revisited. Thus saving a moderator from having to manually update it. And a auto like system too. Just a page that is clean. Something like, but better than my example. (psx-scene logo by TitanTX)

Great idea Tranced. In the rules it says that they can do whatever they want with the donation like accept it or split it with other devs or whatever they want.

Another good idea, the only problem is the "alt" links. Those are the alt links. Like when you view an article, you see it in front page format. And then, there is the other part/mirror to that thread, that is in standard forum format. You know what I am saying, right?

Anyways, the problem with the ALT links, is they are not the article, and thus it makes it hard to like something when you only see the "You can view the page at http://psx-scene.com/forums/content....site-Archives!".

Otherwise, like I said, another good idea. See what the other have to say about it.

I think I understand. But aren't the members "Likes" stored in the members database? Thus retrieving the amount of "Likes" would be easy. Or a new database containing each member partaking in the competition called "contest" which holds the member name, project submitted, number of likes etc. and the position calculated based on amount of "Likes". Then the "Auto Like" column would directly increment the likes in that database for that member and depict the correct position of said member when the page is refreshed/revisited. * Arent you using VB.Net and CSS, can't a separate CSS file handle the layout of these pages? Or a simple datagrid control displaying this from the new database? **Another idea is to have another page linked to the above mentioned page that would show previous month winners and perhaps have a end year overall winner.

Thank you Tranced for including my logo it means a lot, and good luck to whoever wins the contest. I think a small amount of the prize should be donated to Gitbrew, just a thought.

Basically what I am trying to say, is there are two "threads" created when a new ARTICLE is made. One has the article, and the other has the ""You can view the page at http://psx-scene.com/forums/f260/mon....site-Archives!".

Now, teo different places to go, means two places I have to check. I want to try to keep as many as I can in one place. So if we had something like that, I would just use the links to the artilce, and not the mirrors. The ALTs are the mirrors is all I was saying. No big deal, easy fix

I do not know what you are getting at with the members LIKES being stored. I just go to the two pages, and count em up

A.) Yes. B.) I was asking if they where stored in the members database. Of course it would be a little more complicated than that due to likes received been added for each project submission. I noticed that I can call up all threads that I have started. If I can do that then surely a Like count per thread/project can be implemented. If a like count is not in the database you should suggest it to the webmaster because you would not have to manually add the likes and they would auto increment if their were to be a page with a table as I suggested. Just trying to simplify things for you and make life a little harder for the webmaster.
