The IP address of your PS2, Router and Computer. Which OS is running on your computer (Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Linux or Mac). Also what are you trying to accomplish, like booting games from OPL over SMB, transferring files to/from the PC and PS2 or playing media with SMS?

This is the way it is set up over my router version.
    Pc:
    IP-10.0.0.2
    Subnet-255.255.255.0
    Gateway-10.0.0.1

    Ps2-10.0.0.10
    Mask-255.255.255.0
    Gateway-10.0.0.1

I am using vista, trying to transfer files over to the hard drive, and with either fireftp(i think that's what its called) i also have the trial of FlashFXP installed...i could use that.
Computer is hooked up through ethernet.

Most likely it is security firewall preventing transfer you will have to give permission to the ftp client
and here this may help better it is free just drag and drop folders you want to transfer to it and use uLE to copy past to HD

    http://psx-scene.com/forums/download...do=file&id=192

    V10 SCPH-50001 with Network adapter SCPH-10281 500 G HD
    PSP 3000 9G 6.20 PRO CFW Perm
Unofficial FMCB v1.8C OPL self compiled HD and SMB preferred
Is how all good gaming systems came to be

yep and drag and drop folder you want to transfer but if your router or firewall is the problem may still not work
