WANTED: som epeople to test KAI/XBSLink for CFW users

looking for people to try out Xlink kai and XBSlink.

for kai settings.
Port 30000 to 35000(deep port) i have port forwarded my router(log into router and apply changes for port(both udp/tcp)
dont enable PAt either. after that launch kai then boot up ps3, do a internet check and console will be found(under metrics in UI) dont worry shows up as a ps2, its okay.

available later this evening, arizona tim..(its 1.43 pm now) hit me up pm or just reply to thread.
i have a good amout of games. just pick one,

can confirm kai working, was just playing COD BO2 with another member. played a few games as host.

really all i had to do was install kai then open config ui,
edit ports thru the router,(enter your router ip in browser then edit ports for both UDP and TCP
this is my set up and seems to work well.


after that, restart engine(i like the UI) click metrics and you will see all info needed. once network is reachable turn ps3 on(i always do a network test, just so it gets detected on network.)
youll get a dns error, but thats ok. now under metrics you can scrool down to found consoles and you will see a PS2 and its mac address(yeah its your ps3)

after that find a game arena of your choice.
note i always see -1 under lobbies and ect, just click the game and you will see people to the right that are online.


this supports games that have a LAN option in multiplayer

ps3 is wired to my router and my pc as well.(this is the easiest way)
(make sure ps3 is off when you start kai engine, then boot up(internet test, not sure if needed but..) and bam.

now all we need are people on CFW that want to play online, i am banned console and acct so this works for banned people as well
to get together and whoop some ass.(sh!t should make it a psn alternative lol)

nice right up man. so we have started getting CFW users to update to BO 2 version 1.06 so now there should be alot less issues finding game. For those that wantot host if you have a fast connection all you need to do is get to the kai game lobby then create your game on the PS3. I have been in a few sessions with teams of 5 sense we have users update. the links for update - PKG 1.06 bo2 - Pastebin.com you will find the disk version pkg for your CFW.

played this morning. Noticed it actually showed player this time instead of-1.
Actually was on a team deathmatch. Was great and no lag from host. Pings where over a 100.
Guess as long as the bar under user is green then you can connect.

anyone know why my ps3 doesnt fail the dns anymore? was working fine so i edited my shortcut to kai(wanted to be on tx server all time) but now no dns error and no games. i have reinstalled kai and still nothing. ports are forwarded, dmz is off . i dont understand
