Yes. I took all the files in the USRDIR of the US game (except the root cpk file and eboot) and replaced them in the JAP game's folders.

And I'm sure he still needs you to send him the txt file. I would but lack the tools.

yes, I still need the text files I mentioned earlier and the japanese EBOOT + PARAM.SFO. I may need 1 or 2 other files once I finish backing up the US version and sit down and look at the file structure

also anybody that has made any progress please document it to save me some time. What works, what doesn't work, what was swapped, what causes the game to crash, etc, etc, etc. The more info I have ahead of time, the quicker something can get done and the less testing I have to do

I've got good news and bad news. Good news is that the TrueBlue patch for the US version has just been released. Bad news is it's gonna be hard to find someone to patch it for regular 3.55

Would making an undub with the patched version be easy? Also here is a topic that seems to have some progress with making a patch for 3.55, maybe it will help you
