Prototype 2 on TB 2.61 - Will original disc work with firmware spoofed?

I was going to go buy the game after reviewing new TB firmware upgrade to 2.61 and it says it spoofs your firmware. Does that mean you play any original disc 3.6+ without having to update firmware to play? I want to know before I go blow $60! Thanks.

You still need a patch by PARADOX. Should be released soon

The spoof 4.01 only helps you to avoid updating your 3.55 fw. Since new games require you to update your firmware to play. TB 2.61 stops that from happening so you don't brick ya ps3. THerefore u still need to wait for eboot fix.
