Is it possible to play games online and still hax your ps3?

First of all I have been out of the ps3 community almost two years, because of dongles, so im pretty clueless.
If I have legit copy of FIFA13 and I want to play it online, is it possible to play fifa online and still hax your ps3 to play games like dishonored and ac3? Or is it that you play either legit games online OR unlegit offline?
PS. By legit games I mean games I have bought and unlegit games I have downloaded.

In current CFW 4.3 Yes you can either play backups or legit copies online at the moment!

Very nice. At the moment I dont have multimania and I have OFW 4.30. With simple steps how do I install this.

Unfortunately you are only able to install any of the CFW's if you are on official firmware version 3.55 or lower. It isn't possible from the firmware you are on. The only way you can get to this lower firmware version is via a hardware flasher, and a compatible PS3.

Assassin's Creed 3 doesn't detect my uplay passport on CFW4.30. Anyone else is having this problem?

I bought the uplay passport online and it worked on PSN but AC3 is still not detecting it.
