About LinkBacksSo I was playing COD: world at war, for my PS3 yesterday.(I had a previous copy that broke. So I got a new one.) I was playing all fine yesterday, and today it KEEPS FREEZING...
I rebuilt the data base. Deleted the install data, the save data. NOTHING would work.
So I finally switched to another user account. And it worked...HOWEVER...
I needed to sign into PSN to play online. So I signed in with my alt psn. And now it's freezing again!
I would like to note, that before it would freeze on the intro. So I would skip the intro, and the game would read the HDD and freeze again.
I have tried other games, and this has not happened. I can't seem to find info anywhere, it's always just a bunch of idiots saying the "console or disc is broken," which I know cannot be it.
I JUST GOT THE DISC YESTERDAY....

What firmware are you using?
I think you are working with an original game disc and not a backup? So what region?
What updates have you installed for the game? I recall this game doesn't play right with a newer update that requires a higher firmware.
And I moved your post to PS3 Gaming -- bookmark it.
