ok so i downloaded your .pkg files and installed the update to 1.01 no probs
however now i get error msg saying game quit as not enough space 1536mb. but the ext drive which game is on has 140gb free?
it's not tallking about your external drive. Remember that these games were designed to be played from discs. It's talking about your internal drive. It has to do a game data install. Free up some space on your internal by deleting something or moving something to your external drive and run the game again and you'll be good

It doesn't matter what version the disc is using. installling the update will force the game to load from dev_hdd0/game/GAMEFOLDER instead of your bluray disc backup. I started with the EURO version too. I changed the SFO to match the US game id listed in the filenames of what I linked you to, deleted the update folder from the disc backup and let multiman change the SFO to 3.55. After installing those PKG files the game worked. Those are the fix files from my personal copy so I know that they work. Make sure you're deleting any old game data before installing the pkg files and check that you have enough free space on your drive. I've got the game running from internal drive and if you follow the instructions or don't have another problem somewhere else, then it will work
. Getting kicked out of pkg installation at 14% makes me think it can't overwrite something or you don't have enough free space
ok my bad, thanks for tip will try install on internal
well i installed on internal drive did update from your .pkg file and still get black screen freeze, now I'm at a loss don't know where to go from here
You could try.
Re-rip the game
Go into Recovery Mode and check file structure is intact
I tried recovery mode all is ok. In the end I downloaded a working copy US version and works perfectly. Thanks to all who helped
how did you install the U.S. version? please...
