mass effect 3 (importing me2 save)

i keep getting a read disk error after i import mass effect 2 character. would it be cause i have a modified character?(aka mass effect 2 modded coalesced.ini)

anyone else have this problem?
was wondering if someone would be so kind as to help me obtain the original from a BCUS.
just recovering from a pc crash and have none of my stuff.
hope this isnt in violation.

has to be on the internal hdd.

you're good as long as you're asking for single files that are not dlc or let you play a game you're not supposed to on 3.55. I don't have it anymore but I'm sure someone does. good luck

found it on my external,and a couple of games i forgot about(was in closet lol)
anyways, i copied and just renamed the modded one to .bak
then tried again, no go same error. so i will try to just delete it(since sometimes you cant mod any files on TB)
then i will try again, maybe cause its external and i did the .psarc trick?
will let ya know either way? anyone else having issues?
the gamesave and new mass effect are both BCUS_ so i know its not a region thing.
