first of all sorry for my bad english, very noob here

can someone teach me how to update gt5 game?
can i download the gt5 game update .pkg from my pc then transfer to USB flash drive then put onto my ps3 then install the update?
is it possible? my ps3 is jailbroke and never been online since i jailbroke my ps3. i read that you can only update the game update by the ps3 with internet connection,
if that is the only way to update the game is it safe to connect my ps3 to the internet while my ps3 is jailbroke? im scared that sony will ban my console if their see me online.
