help with mortal kombat
I recently purchased a jb ps3 so im kinda new at this. The first I went to was mk. I knew that I wasnt supposed to update the firmware. I had no idea that I wasnt supposed to update thte game itself. Now on the psn mk and the ps3 version mk it says I have to update to firmware 3.6 to play the game. Is there way to reverse this and get my fav game to play? Someone help me please. THX!!!
you need to delete the update...
delete the game data from the xmb, then I think you might have to reapply the patch and first update again over the top of the files (cant remember about that bit)
i deleted the psn mk collection from the system and then reinstalled the package but the same message reappeared on the screen. How exactly do i go in and delete the update from the xmb? You might have to walk me through this as i am not too familiar with ps3 software yet. i just switched from a wii
in your xmb (menu) in the game category, go all the way to the top and go into your game data menu. look for everything that says Mortal Kombat and hit triangle then select delete. Reinstall the game patch that you had gotten for MK. If you want to stop the game from asking you to update every time you launch it so you don't accidentally update it again, get any good SFO editor and edit the param.sfo for MK and change the version to something like 40.0 (basically just a high number that the game will never be updated past)
