every game worked, now most don't

I don't know what happened, One day I was playing la noire, the next day it wouldn't work. throws up error code 80010017. Gran Turismo 5 still works fine, the only one so far that I have tried that still works. My bd rom has been dead for a long time, but the games still played fine. I'm on kmeaw 3.55 could it be my backup manager, I have multiman 2.09? every game I play I use the internal hdd to run from. I would try running a full format but the playstation comes up with an 18 hour run time on that (it's only a 320 gig hdd inside).

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried fixing permissions in Multiman?

doesn't multiman automatically update the permissions? When I launched the game after a format and reinstall it came up right away in multiman with a "setting permissions" dialog, then went back to xmb, then I go to app/game under the game tab (up just a few from my multiman), after starting the game it throws up the 80010017 error.

Edit:

I just launched multiman and pressed triangle on a game that doesn't work, went over to "fix permissions", did the stuff. Still gives me the 80010017.
