Dragons dogma, resolution error, possible fix
Dragons dogma, resolution error, possible fix –

Hi guys! I installed dragons dogma on internal, patched it to 1.03 and then transfered cracked param.sfo and eboot.bin to internal.
When trying to start the game from multiman the disc icon in xmb says unsupported data and running from home says invalid disc.
It also nags about I can play that game at current resolution. I saw in another forum/thread you can edit thses things in param.sfo.
I open the sfo in an editor but all is greyed out. I then take another sfo and change title and game id. Transfer over to internal.
Now the icon is normal and game starts....but then it just turns black and nothing more.
Any tips or ideas about this?

Sounds to me like you might be using an American version of the game with European eboot/param, or vice-versa.

I am using the BLES version for both original, update and patch. I am living in europe to so should work even more
Very strange. I saw some other people having same issue with other games. I almost fixed it with editing param.sfo but I took a bleach: resurrection sfo and edited to dogma. Maybe some stuff is wrong in the sfo

The unsupported data means that you have files in the wrong place somewhere......such as the Param.sfo in the USDIR folder or the Eboot out of the USDIR folder.
As for the resolution......it can be easily remedied by checking all of the lower resolutions on the Param.sfo.

Ok, will try tomorrow. But the param.sfo provided in the eboot crack is all greyed out when I open in sfo editor. I cannot check anything. That is why I had to open another sfo and then make it to dogma. The unsupported data dissapeared when I swapped the crack sfo for my newly made sfo, put in the same place as before
