Devil May Cry HD Collection; DMC3 Save

So here is the story, I bought the DMC HD collection for 1 reason I have a vendetta agenst DMC3 and I want to beat it on the org DMC3 difficulty, but as anyone who has played the special edition of DMC3 likely knows the difficulty was toned down and you can only unlock the org difficulty by beating the game.

I figure no problem I will download a save, so I do so...issue is the game bars you from saving progress if you do this.

I looked into finding a way to edit the save file so my system thought the save was made with this system and I ran into PARAM SFO editors and took a crack at them. Sadly in using them I get nothing but corrupted saves when I try to transfer them back over to the system, as I just out of luck and cant play the game as I want? Or am I doing something wrong? If it matters my ps3 is not jailbroken.

Ya those programs do the same for me, im still wondering how to play others saves, it used to be easier about 3 years ago lol.
