COD:BOII Server unavailable = ban?

It's probably just server overload on game launch day. Too many people trying to play at the same time. Only way to see if you're banned is to sign out of PSN and try to log back in

Yea I got the same issue. But I've read that not only us cfw user are getting that problem. Even people who bought the game are having the same issue. And it seems to only happen on the PS3 version. Other issues reported are game freezes at certain points which has happen to me as well. Looks like it will be like that until an update or patch comes along. Just sucks that the game is only a day old and already has problems.

yeah ive been getting freezes as well. glad to hear its not just me.

They've already released a 1.02 update and the server unavailable crap is still happening, i logged onto multiplayer started to setup my emblem and it cut me off, now i stuck at server unavailable. Might be about a week before the servers sort themselves out as, they must be seriously overloading right now with the influx of traffic from millions and millions of hits on it, just sucks i'm one of the few yet to even play an online match lol

360 version runs perfectly, and I'm willing to bet there are more players on that side than PS3. Hopefully a new patch will resolve this problem.

still locked out, but i imagine they will fix this soon, otherwise they will have a riot on their hands

I think the lockout at this point is you have been banned from CoD servers.

I think it's just a server problem. I tried a few times to connect and I get the server unavailable message sometimes real quick and others after almost 20 seconds. It just seems like it's overloaded. Try again at a off-peak hour like 5 am or something

Yeh i've been the same sometimes takes 4 mins to say server unavailable then theres other times it just pops up straight away. Definately a server prob and not a server ban
