i have a scph 79001 what version number do i have.
Sony's customer service is not helping.

Of course they can't help you. Those "version numbers" are unofficial, and are not accurate. "SCPH-79001" is how Sony named your console model.

It's probably a v16 or so. My SCPH-77006 is considered a "v15" console.
