basically i just want to have both the cobra and the true blue...its so hard to search for a firmware thats compatible with both... on google i just get mixed results

does this mean that im gonna have to change firmware from cobra to true blue and back and forth every time i want to use one or the other?

if that was the case i will just not bother getting the true blue since i was more concerned with the ps1/2 hdd features and if its a pain to play the new ps3 games then whatever. what the new gen of gamers want in a game is complete garbage anyways so it wouldnt bother me... but if theres a firmware or practical way to use both i would then feel it neccessary to have them both.

Yeah for sure they should make dongles DRM free. Who would profit from that. If we want to spend our money on dongles that is our choice. The people that bitch our obviously people who don't want to spend a dime. Everything in life should be free. Is that it?

You dongle fans are clueless. There's money in selling babies too but it doesn't make it right. I've been involved in modding and backing up since 1982. Never in my life have I paid for a backup loader or emulator. If someone asks me if there's a hack for PS3, I just say no. I can't bring myself to even try and explain how phucked up, pathetic and convoluted PS3 modding is. I tell them to get a 360 JTAG or RGH modded console. They run any game folder you throw on the hard drive no problem at all, and FreeStyle Dash doesn't need a God damn dongle taking up a USB port either.

I know I'll think twice before ever contributing to PS3 scene. Since the spirit of free information and sharing is dead here, I'll be keeping my discoveries to myself. Have fun BUYING your BACKUPS from CROOKS!

    You got nothing.
Also it cost $100+ to mod a xbox and it is a lot more difficult.
    Your excuses are week.

    100+ ?
Holy **** are you out of touch with reality! LPT cables cost next to nothing, 5 resistors and 2 diodes and a cable? You can JTAG a box for next to nothing. RGH chips can be found for under $15!
Compared to $60+ for a one time E3 and $60+ for TrueBlue... and phucking around with updates and patches and methods for different games...
    WTF WEEK?
What a sad bunch of clueless delusional tools!

    rgh= fail not live safe
if ur gonna mod 360s at least retain all functionality. lol. LT+3.0 ftw.

thats like messin with dongles isnt it? dont u gotta buy junk for that? who cares.
i bought the stuff to flash LT+ 3.0 to a 360, and i got the probe so i could do any model. and i only modded my own.
not to mention the liteon IHAS burner just to make xgd3 backups.

its just money. why not spend it and mess with the product. i enjoy messing with stuff more than actually playing these dum games they put out nowadays

There was a tutorial I need and can find it anymore to quick install between TB,Cobra and another FW what you want. You put all FW you want to HDD and there was a debug option to install and you can choose fw to install from system update menu. if anyone find this tut please send here a link plz

I'm also a buying a True Blue + Cobra dongle combination...
Is it possible to install the Cobra CFW if I've already installed the TB CFW? So, basically I just need to install the CFWs and replace the dongles each time, and everything will be OK?
Or do I have to install 3.55 stock firmware each time, and reinstall the dongle cfw?
