Just out of curiosity, do you guys recommend ripping my PS3 games to ISO mode? Or the one that has a bunch of files and directories? I'm assuming the 2nd is better because it would be easier (I assume) to apply a patch? Is this correct?
Yeah, stick to non-ISO rips. They are much easier to deal with.

I think ISOs for PS2/PSX are fine. Actually, that may be the only valid format. I'm not sure.
For PS2 ISO for PSX cue bin or img i recommend this for covert to psp or EBOOT.PBP for psp

Thank you but I do not understand? I tried playing a PSP game on my PS3 (a few actually) and every time I try to start one it says "you must upgrade to 3.73 or newer" and does not let me play. I tried searching but I can't figure out how to fix this?
