well that link doesn't help my problem as this is a ps3 i bought which had the bluray drive switched. i didn't lose it; I never had it but i think i'll go with ps3key unless someone has a reason to justify the cobra usb when all its features can be done through Kmeaw CFW

if it's a slim console than all the features pretty much with a few exception, if phat then no they can't. If you already have an any payload dongle then stick with that. I've also used an iPod Video 5G as a Jig

You can also use certain Calculators, and DIY projects.

But why not just downgrade with QA flagging, does that not work as well? I do not know, that is why I am asking?
