has anyone tested PS3Jig for PSP with a PSP 3000?
I did. 09g model, on 6.35 CFW, and it did not work. It might have to be a 5.50 or something that will work, but I am not sure.

I don't think 09G's are supported with this particular application, you may want to try and sign it though and see if that works.
I have plenty of dongles to get into service mode. I just tried it out one day to find out if it worked or not. But thanks anyways TitanTX, for the useful information.

I know i'm in 2 threads asking but tthousand my question is what PS3 Jig Dongle should i buy or do i need a dev board?
Oh okay, that I can answer for you. Corba-USB is pretty popular. The E3 is also pretty popular. If you are in the USA, let me know, and I can get you some good vendorss.

P3Go is what I used to use (also have X3Max, Eclips3, E3 Card & Cobra USB) they all are pretty much the same. To downgrade though my preference is the QA Flag method as I no longer have to worry about making a Backup of dev_flash3 cause there is no loss of BD playback (on 256MB nand) with this method

Like bitsbubba stated, the QA Flag method is probably the safest, and also pretty easy to do.
But it all depends... if you are on 3.55, this can be done. If you are one anything above 3.55, you will need to use something like ProgSkeet, or the E3 Flasher.

I'm in the USA whats a good vendor for the cobra usb or E3 flasher slso since i'm on 3.55 i dont need to downgrade i just want to remarry this Bluray drive to the mainboard thats my whole point in wanting to get into service mode so couldn't i just use something like PS3Key? or is it better to just send the extra 40 bucks on a cobra-usb?
Yes, you could just use the PS3Key, and the point of getting the Cobra USB, would be the extra features it offers, which can be found at cobra-usb.com, along with the list of vendors. I have purchased several dongles from VGCRepairs.biz (USB AVR Dev Board section), and have also received great customer support from them as well.
If you just want to re-marry the blu-ray drive, you should check out this newly released tutorial, which is supposed to work for that as well:--> http://psx-scene.com/forums/content/...consoles-1505/
