webMedia plugin for Showtime is a free internet source media reader. Can read RSS feeds, Imagecast, Podcast, Videocast, Live TV/Radio (rtmp). I built this plugin for my own use because I wanted more than current Showtime plugins can give. The purpose of this plugin is to have the possibility to read free media sources available on the Internet.

You can use direct RTMP links as sources, or use a thestreamdb.com URL as source.
The 2 options work. thestreamdb links have the advantage that when the RTMP are updated in the database the thestreamdb link is the same.

mms links don't work because they are not supported by showtime. There are several real time protocols that showtime doesn't support yet.
In the future, when showtime supports mms links and other protocols WEBmedia is ready for supporting them
