Skip back and forward problem on Streaming

I'm having Skip back and forward problems with some movies,especially the high Def ones,the problem is I can't really Skip back and forward properly in some movies,and don't the the Play and Stop buttons,I'm on showtime 4.0,and tired to reinstall it,for wired,it actually worked in the Start,but now it's always doing this problem,I will glad for help,thanks

I don't think its a problem with your ps3 or with showtime, streaming movies often do this. The best you can do is make your connection to the server wired if its using wireless, other than that not much you can do. Even on a wired connection this happens with me. Its just too much data being sent for it to work with seeking through a movie especially a high def one. With small size rips you can move it forward at the slowest seek speed but I don't think you'll have much luck trying it with hd movies.
