navi-x without getting banned

Hey guys i have had my PS3 on kmeaw 3.55 since it came out a few years ago... the ps3 has not been online since i went to cfw..

i"m looking at adding the navi-x plugin, but if i do this my ps3 would need access to the internet.. is there any way of doing this without getting banned by sony?

eversince i changed to cfw i have manually set my ip config so my gateway and dns are blank, so i still have lan access to use ps3 media server and UMS, but no internet connectivity whatsoever..

Your ps3 doesn't get banned for being connected to the internet.

Bans occur when being on PSN, Well i should say there is a risk of being banned when connected to PSN,
I know many people who use common sense and respect the network who don't get banned.
Dont do the obvious stuff access homebrew or backup managers while logged in ect..Cheat in games and IMO dont play new titles online as they seem to watch those more carefully.

and sends a log file of your details to sony... so they would essentially have everything they need to ban your console without you using psn

But they don't. They target certain people. Certain people can seem to successfully evade the ban.

Yeah, i have two CFW PS3s that have been connecting to PSN since we got the ability to do so last year. No ban. I think you will be fine, but you can't ever be 100% sure.

Just turn off the auto-sign-in option Press <triangle> on the Sign In icon and turn it off

That's what I did, I'm using Navi-X too and still I'm not banned :P
