Hi everyone.

New member here from Sunderland in the UK. Joined this forum to create some knowledge of hacking PS3s. Only ever done it before with old PSP, iPhone and iPad.

With 3.55 it is easy. With 4.55, wait a minute, there is no 4.55

Thanks for quick reply firstly.

I've had a look on your sig, the software I have is 4.11 (thought it was 4.55 for some strange reason)

My PS3 is version CECHG03, I have read a downgrade to 3.55 using this may brick the console? Would the downgrade link from the site in your sig enable me to downgrade the put on the cfw?

Again, all help is greatly appreciated.

I think your system is safe to downgrade, it is a phat model correct? I believe you will need a ProgSkeet or E3 Flasher to downgrade and use CFW. Here are some links to try.
