New member introduction

Hi everyone. I'm a new member, landed here while researching a way to get saved games off my PS2 memory cards into binary files to transfer back and forth over the web to other folks who would use the same method to access those saved games. I have no interest in modding the PS2 or spending any money.

I'm such a noob I can't even figure out how to "visitor message" pcklfshpd for a free McBoot install on a memory card.

Any advice/assistance would be appreciated.

As a follow-up, I tried the PS3 adapter via PC install method, but I appear to have the knock-off adapter and am getting the same errors... -1 with no card, -11 with a PS1 card, and -13 with a PS2. Hence the request for a free install/swap of a card.
